| Tudhoe
Grange School Band was founded by Adrian Biddulph, following his
appointment as Head of Music at Tudhoe Grange School, Spennymoor,
Co. Durham in 1981. The Band first began with eight members, playing
on borrowed instruments. The Concert Band now has over 100 members,
and our pupils play a range of professional instruments.
The sound of the Band has changed dramatically in the last twenty
years, however throughout its history, the Band has made a conscious
effort to play commercial popular music rather than a traditional
brass band repertoire. |
